A decade ago...
Man, I love this band. (click video to embiggen once you get to the page). Cause they're giant dorks. [ETA: They need to release another xmas album with their man voices. And I have no idea what is going on with Ike's hair in either of those]
In other band related news, I played a bunch of Band Hero earlier and decided that it was harder on vocals than Rock Band was (or I've just grown to suck more), in the end I switched difficulties from medium to easy. Now I am once again ROCKING it.
Also, my big xmas present this year was tickets to the Our Lady Peace concert in May. They're doing two shows, one focusing on "Clumsy" and the other "Spiritual Machines". I don't even remember which show the tix are for, but I am PSYCHED. I have seen them in concert one other time. At Summersault. Does anyone even remember summersault? I still. have the poster on my wall. Freaking 2000. 10 years ago. That's crazy. (Billing was: Smashing Pumpkins, Our Lady Peace, Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Treblecharger, The Catherine Wheel, Eve 6, Finger Eleven, Sum 41--I think A Perfect Circle wasn't there that day for some reason) How horrible is it that most of what I remember from that day is that sum 41 sucked ass live, and the Smashing Pumpkins were epic, despite the fact that I really wasn't, and still am not a fan. All the in betweens were just gooey filling. I also got a sunburn that day. Even though it took place inside of BC Place...it was from waiting in line to get into the stadium. Teach me not to wear sunscreen for indoor events.

Vaguely resolution shaped.
I just gave my cellphone a bath. No more crud stuck behind the joystick! I think this is year 3 of my phone contract (note to self: find papers to confirm that), so I might as well go into the year with a shiny clean phone before I inevitably end up retiring it after I've dropped it on the ground one too many times. It is currently only operation due to bits of cut up business card crammed into the back panel afterall.
Also on todo list:
1. Buy Books for School
2. READ THEM
3. Be awesome
4. Clean room

As this list is in no particular order, and the bookstore is most likely closed on Sundays, I shall be doing #5 first.

RTD I don't like you right now.
I was about to sit down and watch Part duex of the Doctor Who Xmas special... but Children of Earth was on the teevee while I was cleaning up from partytimes last night. So now I'm ( rewatching it instead )
In other news, I appear to have failed at sending xmas cards this year. How annoying. Sorry if you were expecting one from me. I seemed to lack in the extra time for getting things done. and then school starts again monday! Where does the time go?
ETA: Wtf am I doing posting about TWood without an Ianto icon?! *fixed*

SKATING
Harry Jerome Rec Centre has skating on the 31st for 1$ from 3:15-4:45 or Adults Only skating from 10-11:30am! I'd prefer to do the morning. anyone interested?
